Running Models in Version 2.06 Made With Earlier Versions

Decided to try out version 2.06 on the 9X M125 TX to be met with some major problems.

This model was made using an earlier version of Opentx that worked fairly well with version 2.05 firmware and version 2.05 Companion. ---->

Loading it up to a TX or Simulating it in Companion show most channels as inactive (like channel 4 & 5 (Aileron) and channel 11 (Throttle) to mention just three of them. Logical switches do not work as channel sources (something an earlier version of 2.0 had) example of this is channel 8 that has a flip flop timer on it from L8.

You use L13 which is not any more allowed!

Yes Bertrand. I seem to recall a few versions back in this generation that the One and On were converted to L13 and L14 and for some reason I decided to use L13 as an OR function with version 2.05


Loaded the latest firmware this evening and the same results occurred as before until I changed L13 to L12 on channel 3 along with channel 9 source made to look at L12. This brought back the other channels and so far all seems well. So it looks like the use of L13 through to L15 on a previous incarnation leads to a lot of model functions being disabled.

Marked as fixed for now.

Can you expand on L13 not being allowed please. As of which version and is there anything in the UI to warn users ? Thanks, Sean

Those logical switches had to be removed, see https://github.com/opentx/opentx/issues/1436. The next version will warn user like this https://github.com/opentx/opentx/pull/1513

The bug here was a missing warning. L13 not converted is "normal", but the user was not warned...
