Read up on it, still confused, so I'm asking.
I need a template for ch6 2 position flaps, 3 position, and timed option.
I'm using a D6R receiver on my Tarsnis with rev 1.99 FW but can flash 2490.
Y cable for the 2 flap servos. The servo arms start at 90deg (center) for up flaps. For full down flaps the servo will go to on end. I'll need to adjust the center and max one end throw weight.
I read the I may want to use a 3 point curve function and a 3 position switch. I tried that and just couldn't get the curv to output to ch 6.
I did search for opentx flaps and got a lot of hits about flaparons instead.
Same for template listings.
I'm grateful for any links or templates.
Thanks

Re: Flaps template needed
Do the curve option.
On channel 6 setup a mix using the source for the mix as the switch you want to use.
Done!
What do you want a timed option for?

Slope Soaring, FPV, and pretty much anything 'high tech'
...........if you think it should be in the wiki.. ask me for wiki access, then go add it!

Simple to some but here's my working setup for 3 pos flaps
Rev1.99 FW 5/13/14 loaded to test haptic. I'm probably my going to fly with 2490.
In mixer
I created a new model with the first 4 channels TAER.
I added ch 6.
In exit mode for ch6 I selected source as SB.
Under curve I selected cstm and CV1 as the custom curve source.
In the curves menu I selected CV1 and enter.
In the Curve 1 menus I selected 3 point in the Count option.
At this point my SB switch gave me -100 0 +100 as the X default for 1-2-3.
I then selected the Y #1 and with the + and - buttons set a new value for SB pos 1.
I did the same for Y 2 and 3.
I hope this helps for first timers just wanting a DIY flap setup.
So simple to some, not so to others.
If this is a help I'd post this in proper thread or topic, but there seems to be so many on so many different sites I'm not sure where?
Fortunately I don't think we're judged for sharing or not being the best at programming or hardware mods. Some teach, some learn, we're all winners.
Feel free to post other flap programming options or correct mine. I'm still learning.
Thank you.

Go to rcsettings > fixed wing I have setup for flaps only and also the setup I currently use
If it has wings it will fly...

Could you please post a link?
I searched rcsettings.com and only found these
http://rcsettings.com/index.php/searchresult
I didn't see a simple flaps only setup.
Thank you
