New features provided by open9x
Re: New features provided by open9x
Nice. First parameter is sufficient. Not all chars look nice when made bold by shifting.

Re: New features provided by open9x
To clarify... is the purpose behind this to make show the value as 'dimmed out' when filtering the mix?
How about italics?
How about italics?
Slope Soaring, FPV, and pretty much anything 'high tech'

Bold numbers only?
Re: New features provided by open9x
The goal is to show which mixers, D/Rs, custom switches, function switches,... are active at a given time.Rob Thomson wrote:To clarify... is the purpose behind this to make show the value as 'dimmed out' when filtering the mix?

Italics can't really be done without a new, separate font, and that's not possible on the stock board as it would take too much flash. Needs to be a simple variation of the current font. Compromises as usual...
Could also simply invert CHx and the add/replace/multiply symbols instead of bolding them, like is currently done for the custom switches..
I like this one best so far:
Re: New features provided by open9x
Italic without extra font.

What about inverting the colour on the row? So dark background, light text?

Looks great. And on arm we could use a real bold font.
Is it easy to implement it to for expo/dual/triple rates? That would be very handy.
I think the current rates screen is hard to understand compared to er9x and could use some help/love.

For DR/EXPOS?
I was annoyed with this one, there is not always something in first column...

Do we have space for a 2px verical line right on the far right?
You could show/hide the block if the mix is active.

CHx, FPx, Function swithches looks great.
It looks "W" is a only problem, but acceptable.
I have also tried:

I am afraid it will be impossible to see at the field, no?

Re: New features provided by open9x
Rates are looking good!
For mixers the output label "CH1" is not handy, it should be per mix. Maybe the input label "Ail"?
Changing the SW to CS seems a good solution and a more intuitive label.

It is per mix. For other lines it's the Add, Replace or Multiply symbol that gets 'bolded'.Peter wrote:Rates are looking good!

He is right in saying that += bolded is difficult to see !
I also like the CS idea instead of SW.

Re: New features provided by open9x
I discovered that somebody (thus / erazz ?) thought to keys double click. There is "dead" code around this in checkIncDec(...) function. I remove it for now. Will save some flash.
@Mike, it's also in er9x
