Turnigy 9x updated and now THR RUD and AIL switches are always on

Hi all I tried to revive my old turnigy 9x with 64 Atmega but maybe I did something wrong 'cos now THR RUD AIL buttons doesnt' work anymore remaining in activate state.

I tried to flash 2.0 and 2.1 with and without frsky option without solving
now I am openttx-9x 2.1.10 eepr 216.0
The radio is modded with dht module and telemetry mod and it worked correctly before update If I remember correctly I had 1.9 before.


I tried flashing er9x (revision 821): but the switch error is still there
Any help?

Did you attempt to re-calibrate the sticks and switches?

Yes I calibrated without luck. I don't think there is an hardware problem because everything works fine before flashing.
It seems it doesn't recognize the frsky part of the firmware.
I don't remember but maybe I flashed a 2.2 version ( incompatible with this radio ) before downgrading to 2.1.10, could be this a hint?

Solved the programming error changing usbasp I still have the switch problem

"switch problem" Sounds like maybe Calibration is not correct yet.
Some times you need to try doing it several times.
Do you have the "Calibration" procedure ?

If you mean the calibration procedure on the radio I have the option to calibrate pot ant stick. first on the centre and then on extreme positions. I don' know about a calibration procedure for the switches.

So, you only troubles with the pots ?

Are you saying you are trying to flash Opentx firmware and not er9x firmware ?
Better to stay with er9x as it is still supported: http://www.er9x.com/.

Which Switches are now a problem for you and which firmware are you using ? http://www.er9x.com/

I flashed er9x last build and now the switches work correctly.I don-t know why open tx doesn-t work I use it on other radios so I-d prefear use the same firmware to all but no problem I-ll stick with er9c on the turnigy. Thank you very much for your help!

Opentx is not supported anymore for a very long time now.
er9x is still supported and so is up to date and works a lot better then the very old Opentx for your 9x radio.

Er9x is a wonderful firmware. Abd it is still being maintained for this radio as far as I know.
