Scaling of telemetry values

openTx has introduced a range of new features, ideas and bling. It is fast becoming the firmware of choice for many users. openTx will run on ALL current hardware platforms, including the gruvin9x and sky9x boards. Work has already started to support the new FrSky X9D radio!

Scaling of telemetry values

Post by wilopaan »

How does the scaling of a sensor value work?

If I have an unscaled value of say 30 and I setup a scaling of 0.1 I get 0.0 instead of 3.0 as I woul expect.

Any hints?

I have struggled with that too lately and if I recall correct, it's based on the number 255 as being the max. So if you set it to 255, then it will show your 30 as 30. I think if you set it to 25. It will scale your value to /10
