opentx symbols

Post by micka »

hi
has anyone got a list of what all the symbols mean on opentx, for example why do you have one that looks like a stick and another that looks like pac-man with a triangle
what’s the difference and what do they mean.
would be great if opentx did this , would make everything so much easier and simple to understand
just don’t want to programme wrong thing and have an accident in the air

There's a stick picture for the raw stick position with no processing, an I for the Input, aka what comes out of the "inputs" screen including any adjsutments you might have done there, and a "trim" sign... not sure what you refer to as a pacman.

When you do a long enter press on a source field in edit mode you get a shortcut popup with the categories and the corresponding icons.

They will all do everything, some just have additional features that may be more useful/interesting on one type than another.

the only receiver you can use with petrol ignition safely is the x-8r pro
as all others get lock out from the ignition, have even been advised not to use kill switch direct to
receiver as can fry it
this is from frsky and other modellers, i suppose it’s how they keep them cheap
