Would it be possible to copy a file from an X10S in OpenTX Companion and upload it to a Tarranis QX7

The file that you save when you back up your models.

That will not work as far as I know. To copy models from one transmitter to the next, you need to use Companion.
Companion will convert the data for the format used in the X10s to the format for the X7

tonnie78. That is what I mentioned in my original post. Using Companion to copy models from the X10S to the X7.

Sorry, I didn't fully understand the opening post. If you set up both transmitters in Companion, then I think you can drag and drop a model from one radio to the next in Companion

Set companion to an X7 profile, read your X7, read/open a file from your X10, drag models to X7 window, check/rework them because of the different controls, write to X7

I would also add:
Do check that the function of each facet of your model setup works as expected on your model before flying. Occasionally not everything is converted exactly.
