Irange multi-mode firmware
Irange multi-mode firmware
Anyone know if the Irange firmware is included with the normal OpenTX install package?

Re: Irange multi-mode firmware
The multi-module is completely separate from openTx and is not part of it.

Re: Irange multi-mode firmware
Dear Mike B!
I have bought an Irange irx4 plus module and have a 9x m64, er9x on it, with working Frsky "resistor and cut" telemetry mod. With this mod are the 9x and the irx4+ able to communicate the telemetry datas? I ordered an MJX Bugs 3 mini, it has a minimal telemetry for battery and range beeping. Does any firmware handle this drone with irx4+? What version of firmware is good for the 9x and if you may know what for the irx4+?
Thank you in advance for the answer,
Steve

Re: Irange multi-mode firmware
er9x fully supports the multiprotocol module for control and quite a lot of telemetry. I'm not sure in what format the telemetry from the Bugs 3 gets passed to er9x, but it may work.
Depending on whether you have an inverter as part of the telemetry mod, you may need to build the firmware for the module with "INVERT_TELEMETRY" or not.
The firmware for the module is here: https://github.com/pascallanger/DIY-Mul ... -TX-Module. You will need to have the Arduino IDE installed to be able to build it.
For er9x either the latest release (on www.er9x.com), or the latest test version on the test versions thread here is fine.
There is a (large) thread on the multiprotocol module here: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthr ... -TX-Module. Instructions for building the firmware are on the Github pages.
