FrSky modules

Post by dannyco »

Hi,guys!
I have a FlySky remote and I want to replace the original Tx/Rx modules with a Frsky D8R-II plus (Rx)
and Frsky 2.4GHz DJT (Tx). I'm not interesting about telemetry. It is possible?
Thank you in advance.

Yes. of course.

The telemetry mods are only required if you want to feed the telemetry information onto the transmitters display.

In your case.. simly use the 'basic' firmware without the frsky extentions.

You can still have access to basic telemetry without the on screen mods.. RSSI for example.. the module will beep anyway if suddenlly your link gets weaker for some reason..
You can even through a little program configure your voltage dividers so your module will beep when pack/receiver voltage is low..
I know you're not interested, I just wrote this for your information in case you didn't know it.. ;)

Also take a looK at the fld-02 if you still want telemetry readings and more. It just plugs into your DJT module no soldering
