Which supplier versions of the 9Ch Tx and Rx are compatible?

Post by Galand »

I have seen this type of question come up regularly and most recently on the "big" forum.
I posted this answer and I hope this may also be useful to other newbees:

If what you call "flysky" version is this one:
Fixed Link
or this one:
Fixed Link
or this one:
Fixed Link

and your "v2" Rx is this one:
Fixed Link
or this one:
Think this is the Link
or this one:
Think this is the right link

Then yes, they are compatible.

Maybe this post should go somwhere else, but I leave that to Rob.

If you are looking something different in an rx...

these are compatible to any tx that works with the above v2 rx's

5 in 1 Main Control Unit

Helicopter 5 in 1 controller

5 in 1 Main Board

I've tested them all, and they work marvy.

this rx will work too.

Just for General Info, to post a nice link, use the URL= BBCode

Code: Select all

[url=www.google.com]This will link to Google[/url]
[url=Link goes here] what you want to display [/url]
There is a button for url at the top of the edit screen, but you have to place the = yourself

@GrootWitbaas.
Thanks for fixing my links.
Now my new text is gone because I clicked on BBCode.
I give up!
Posting links and pics is way too complicated compared to RC Forums.
Even simply subscribing to a topic has a cackhanded logic.

Not entirely sure what you just did to make the text disappear?

Give things time. It takes a while to get used to the way different systems work. Different doesn't mean wrong. Just means a learning curve :)

I am planning to integrate a wysiwyg editor in the next week or two. That will help you with your text editing.

ok before I explain, do you fly multi-rotors (tri, quad, hexa) - if not then no need to worry, just know it's good to have,
and if this has sparked a bit of curiosity then Google mutliwii

Finally figure out where that 'cre8tiveleo' '8' is coming from. For geeks living in a binary world there is only 0 and 1. you can twist the 1 all day long. it is still the 1. But when you twist that 0 around it becomes 8.

Twisty! Twisty! Twisty!

Is there a way to tell by looking at the TX module (or receiver) if they are V1 or V2 ?

For the receiver the part number has a B at the end and also the dipole antenna with the heat shrink tell you it's a V2 system. For the module on the radio you would have to look at the model number. I believe it is fs-tm002 for the flysky V2 modules.

Sorry, I'm late ;)

Those micro-boards are for helis, so I guess quite unusable to use in planes.
Is there some way to disable the internal mixers to get 4 independent channels ? (2 servos and 2 brushed esc)

On the HK site there are discussions of using these in planes. How do you hook up the motor/esc? I'd like to try one in a mini boat.
