How to bind UMX Radian to OrangeRX module

Post by N7LUF »

I hope this might be the right place to ask this question.
I have Taranis -X9D+ and OrangeRX module, and can not bind a UMX Radian.
I am using OpenTX companion and just can not to get it all to bind.
Here is what I got from Amazon.
E-flite RC Airplane UMX Radian BNF Basic Transmitter Battery and Charger Not Included with AS3X and Safe Select EFLU2950 Airplanes ARF Electric
Really could use you help, PLEASE!

OrangeRX module needs PPM as input and is bound using the switch on it, nothing is handled by the radio.

I am not sure what you mean with switch on it.
Does all the switches on the back of the OrangeTX be in the off positions.
I have been trying PPM with no luck.
Thank you for your reply

You might want to clarify what you have, the well known orangerx module that was out when the dev was done doesn't have switches on it, but has a bind button you use to bind:

If yours is different check the manual/post a link to it.

Sorry it took me awhile to find a link.

I have switchwe on the back of the module.

This is the plane I am trying to bind. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09BZ3G7RK?ps ... asin_title

I have been able to bind without any problems using PPM to "E-flite UMX Ultrix BNF Basic with AS3X and Safe Select, 342mm, EFLU6450"
Not sure how to post a picture.
