Hi Guys
Really pleased with ER9x on Turnigy 9X
One question - when calibrating, the aileron and elevator screen displays move in the opposite direction to the sticks
is this normal and do I need to correct it?
regards
Hans

Re: Stick Calibration question
Some people have fitted different gimbals to their 9X. These have sometimes worked in the opposite sense to the standard ones, so I added an option to reverse the stick movement. It is likely you have this selected.
Go to the RADIO SETUP menu (LONG LEFT) and go down to the last but one line, the one with the 4 'pictures' of the sticks. If any of the 'pictures' are highlighted, then that stick is reversed. Simply press LEFT repeatedly until none of the 'pictures' are highlighted.

Thanks for the quick reply. I followed your instructions and the problems solved.
There are a few items in the firmware that aren't in the ER9X manual - do you think there will be an update soon?
thanks again

Re: Stick Calibration question
I might find time for a manual update.
To help, which items are not in the manual?

I'm using ER9x Manual Feb28 2014
Page 15 after item 25 I have stick scroll
after item 27 I have cross trim and then channel order
last item is Mode but needs a bit more explanation
page 20 Model Set up typo should say press LONG RIGHT
page 23 after item 19 I have Volume
Hope this helps
regards
Hans

Re: Stick Calibration question
I've done a few quick edits for those things, except the MODE. When looking at the radio, on the line that says MODE, you have things like:
RUD THR ELE AIL
Above these is a little diagram that is intended to show which stick operates that control.
Stick Scroll allows you to use the stick that is not the throttle to step through menus and edit values, a bit like a mouse!
Cross trim swaps the trims between sides, so, e.g. if you have the throttle on the left stick, then the trim switch beside the throttle adjusts the ELEVATOR stick on the other side. Some people prefer this as they fine it easier to adjust a trim on one side while still holding the stick on the other side.
Channel order has been moved here from the templates menu, a description is under the templates menu.
Volume is only relevant if you do the voice modification. As well as a volume setting in a menu, you may assign, e.g., a pot to control the volume.
I'm actually going to need to do a major re-write, as I have a major change to the menus for the next revision. Instead of having all the different items in the RADIO SETUP menu, and needing to scroll through them all, I have a new index that groups similar items together, so you have:
DISPLAY
AUDIO/HAPTIC
CONTROLS
DIAGSWITCH
DIAGANA
etc.
If you wish to see what this is like, there is a test version posted here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4598#p64969.
