Retractable Undercarriage

Post by CliffEvans »

I am trying to get a retract to work on a scale glider, using the Taranis, and 8XR rx. The retract is on channel 1, for some reason or not, I cannot get any switch to work it i am including the setup eep if this is any help.

Just select the switch you want as "Source" in the mix line on CH1. Not as "Switch".

You've set
CH1: 100% CH1 Switch (SFv).

You should set:
CH1: 100% SF

Now you are just telling that CH1 should be itself when SF is down, center otherwise. So it does nothing at all.

Huh? Are you doing it on the radio itself or on companion? What "doesn't work"?

As I said you must NOT choose it in the "Switch" field, but the "Source" field. Leave "Switch" empty (---). This is used to disable an entry, not as a control.

Ok, I think I have it right now but, still no response from the retract, have just tried a servo tester with it and it works fine!

For some reason you selected the mix to be of "Multiply" type. That makes it do nothing if it is in first position on a channel.
