Hi welcome to our world.. You need to have some patience and you will learn how to work with it.. ;)

First, go here and download the eepe program and install it..

http://code.google.com/p/eepe/

This is a program that do all the er9x can do.. and it's easier to programm your mixes..

It can take a bit to understand how to program the radio. Don't worry, you'll get it. :)

The best way to start off is by experimenting. Download eePe like João suggested. Play around with it. It won't bite!
Have a simple goal in mind -> do a simple 4-channel airplane from scratch.
Or maybe use a switch to do a function in a mix.

Keep on playing with it and you'll get it.
Also, keep asking questions here.
