link to a specifis post and arrangement of attached pics

Post by kaos »

I have noticed some people can link a specific post on a page but I can only copy the page link for the fourm. how do you specify a specific post in the page that has 30 posts in there and the 1st post off the link will be what you want to show?

2nd questions is when I attach multiple pics, it is always stacked from last to 1st, If I want to change the sequence I have to, for now, delete all pics and reattach them in the right sequence. Is there an easier way to change the sequence of pics when you attach multiple pics?

I'll comment until Rob gets a chance.
Each post has a subject heading. It is a clickable link. Click the link to get a url directly to that post. Here is an example for your post in this thread.
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2913#p41377
In case you are interested. I think:
f=3 means this is forum 3. Probably the third forum created
t=2913 means this is the 2913 thread posted in the forum
p41377 means this is the 41377 post in the forum, and you wanna start here.

Concerning multiple pics. There is a 'view inline' or similar option that generates a tag placed at your cursor position. You can rearrange those to suit. That is how I control the layout of my attachments.
