Antenna cap for your  Turnigy 9X

Post by ShowMaster »

This 1/2 in. cap looks good and is gray and has a slightly rounded top and is a soft plastic and fits snugly.
2 for $.77. The white ones I found were harder material and kind of stark so I think this is a good compromise for me.

Pictures. Caps can be cut shorter for a lower profile. I have not.

Thank you, it matches the black and silver on the t9x OK I think and was an easy fix.
2 for $.77 is not bad. For those in the states like me, any Home Depot should have them in the special screw drawer in the screw section. For others maybe something could be worked out?
Price is right it's just postage and VAT I guess after that. All new to me in that area.
Being a screw or bolt cover I'm sure it's used in many countries under a different name for what it does?

Certainly useful for those doing the DIY hack modules.

Red riding hood
Red riding hood
The little red riding hood and the big bad 9x.

They came as protective caps on the PL-259 connectors of an antenna cable once. Never knew what I could use them for until today when I moved the antenna to the original V2 module.
Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of the RC helicopter as it fell, was, "OH NO, NOT AGAIN."
