9X case is copy of Graupner MX-12?

Hello,

I'm looking for a radio tray, you know those big tables attached to a neck strap for my TGY 9x.
But thoose seem to be hard to find?
While my friend have an old Graupner MX-12 35Mhz, I noticed that the back of that radio is almost identical to the 9X radio back, as I didn't have my 9X with me I couldn't compare more exactly.

Do any of you guys know if the 9x case is a clone of the MX-12 from Graupner? In that case I might look for radio trays manufactured for the MX-12 and it will work great for my 9x.

Or if you have any recomendations of a good radio tray, please don't hesitate sharing

Think just coincidence.

The 9x was cloned from a jr radio to my knowledge!

The MX12 /16 case is already shared with JR and Spektrum too... there are really probably a dozen radios that use more or less the same case with minor variations.

Alright, yeah I noticed that JR PCM 9x, is even more idetical to the 9x than the MX-12.

Any one of you use a tray for your 9x? I'd be glad if I found one that my 9x would fit properly in.

It just search for 9x tray on the forum search and you will find it!

But I'm looking for something similar to this, so that I cvan rest my arms and use my finger tip's only.

Another idea.. Why don't you make your own.. some guys at my club did it.. You can use plywood or acrylic..

yep, use a board and Suguru, you can mold it to exactly the shape of your hand and arm as you rest on it.
