Background: (foreground?) I'm planning on using a 9x for surface rc, specifically scale crawlers. The extra channels and functions will help for a winch, multiple winches and various 2pos switches for lights and etc. when compared to most pistol grip radios. Basically the 9x in the hk usa warehouse is mode2 only, its cheaper to buy that way. Can I do the hardware mod to go from mode2 to mode1?
What I need is throttle control on the left stick with spring return and steering control on the right stick
