Knob paint and toggle switch caps

Post by Measuredpath »

I wanted something simple to do to the radio that I haven't notice anyone else do, or perhaps some folks have. Either way here is what I did.

Toggle switch caps were 1/8th in size, they could've have been one size up which would've been less of a stretch. I also added some silver paint to the dials to mark the centre point. It will require me cleaning it up a bit as the paint ran really quick through the veins in the knob. I'll correct it with some black paint at a later date

Good idea, I like it. I just used a red crayon and it worked well. It will come off pretty easy, so you can just rub it back in again.

I put short silicone tubing over the toggle and heat shrink over that.

Here is what I used on my toggle switches. I am sure you can get these at any electronics store.
