Switching Backlight mod

Hello,

I have my er9x modified with the HK backlight and the switchmod with the transistor bs170.

The firmware is switching away nicely,
but the backlight isn't switched off completely. Instead, the backlight is dimmed to about 50%.

What van i do?

Had the same problem. Replaced the bs170 by the 2N7000 and that solved the problem. Beware because the pinout is not the same

Try turning the BS170 around

Turnig the transistor arround didn't do the trick. Replacing with a new one did!

All working like a charm, now.

Yes, Same one. I had to order a minimum of 10pc so i have some spares.....

Expensive stuff, these things;)
