Considering the number of units being shipped with this wired wrong / changed.. Maybe a useful option would be a global system preference that sets the reverse / normal state on all inputs.

The model option would still override this - but would sort out what the default should be?

One for all inputs won't work, because it's really an error, so depending on the unit you receive it's not the same inputs that are reversed :(
We'd have to store normal/reverse settings for every separate hardware input (maybe only the analogs, haven't read of reversed switches... yet)

I probably was not clear.

I was thinking a list of all inputs, with a norm/reverse option for each :)

It's true that we have so much flash spare ... It's easy to do, but I will not be so happy to add such a function :(
What does Mike think about that?
Bertrand.

PS: I will think about a compilation option (at least for stock board), it will save flash and EEPROM

I think it is an added complication we could do without. It would also be likely to make using eepe files between radios confusing.

I ve got the same problem with my TH9 and the DJT module so I decided to do some dremel work to the extra plastic of the pins
then the DJT fitted nicely and firmly

This is good stuff, just orderd a 9x and I'm sure mine will be like this. Looks like I need to go get a $5 cutter wheel to go into my Dewalt...

Alright, everybody stop with the power tools already  All you need to do is trim that whole raised bit away with a sharp hobby knife, the plastic is really quite soft and cuts easily. :D

Cheers,

Got a similar problem, but trying to fit my DJT module to a (very) old JR transmitter. The only way I can do it is to grind away the plastic on the module, but I can't figure out how to remove the circuit board from the module case. Is this possible, or do I just have to be very, very careful with the Dremel?

Thanks,
Ian

Squeezing the module sides a bit while pulling on the switch board normally works well. It can help not to pull straight.

Well I did mine the other night, just used a pair of wire cutters and 10 seconds later was GTG. Obviously after I removed the circuit board. I'm also running a TelemetrEZ board so instead of running the wires out of the back of the radio and plugging into the DJT externally I made a hole in the DJT and ran the telemetry wires through the module bay into the radio. Everything is hidden and everything is working 100% I love this thing!
