RESOLVED: Formatting EEPROM after flashing model changes to radio

Post by Jerrit1 »

I get an error after making chages to my models and then flashing the EEPROM back onto the transmitter.
It always says there was an error and that it is Formatting EEPROM.

I have a Turnigy 9XR (bought in 2014) with the m128 chip.
I flashed the ER9X r820 firmware onto it
Im using EEPE 419

I can get the firmware off the transmitter just fine but once I modify any of the settings and try to flash it back onto the transmitter it gives me this error and wipes all my models.
I have tried using the "set fuses to protect EEPROM" feature, this did not solve the issue.
Any thoughts?

Did you flash "er9x-128.hex"?
What revision of eepe are you using?

SOLUTION: The file I was using was for the 9x, I re-flashed the firmware using the "ersky9x for 9XR-PRO" file and its all working fine now.
