Hmm...

For the programmer (atmega 64) , you don't have to remove the battery.

In the avrdude setup, I don't select the port (I use windblows 7), if I do (and many others who have selected the port also had the same issue *they also use windblows 7*) it won't work. I leave it blank, and it works like a charm. Again, a lot of other people had the same issue until they left it blank, and it worked just fine.

So far so good. Once it's on wiki I'ma attack it...
No not really attack, maybe add notes here and there too for windows 7 users.

Not sure how to get it on wiki...... do you create another html page to set it up on?

One comment:
The "Set Fuses" button does not "Lock" the EEPROM. You can still write to it. It simply prevents the EEPROM from being erased every time you flash a new version of er9x.

thanks Erazz.... I thought it locked it which answers the question I did have in my mind "how the heck can you unset the Fuses when you want to add a new eeprom ... " you answered that in one hit!

Never done one before and not sure really how to do it.... did someone just copy and paste the original ER9x manual (Pdf) into there somehow?

Does it all have to be written in code? can I attach all the pics i have done too?

Or... is it just going to be a big mess...

I was thinking of first attaching the link to the one I am finishing off first ....
i have some youtube videos but they need some work... the Eepe stuff is clear and concise but the Tx is not close enough to see all the screen shots I would have to re-edit my original compilation

Wiki code is not really 'code' - just formatted text.

You will see that it works pretty much by just typing in the text.... all the main stuff gets cleaned up for you.

I would suggest... enter what you have.. then shout if you get lost!

Same problem to me.

I would put in the code for the NMEA modifications, but I need an empty (dummy) page to start with.

I simply don't know where to copy and paste the text and the pictures.

Right ... well I have flashed my Er9x back to Turnigy and done my Video tutorial ("How to Flash to ER9x in less than 2 minutes") as well now .... so final touches ... upload to You Tube and link it .... should not be too much of a hassle one would hope.
