Pbm with eepe 360 + ubuntu 10.04

Post by pierrehu »

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with EEPE rev 360 on linux ubuntu 10.04.

I can open EEPE but when I press a button (configure, read EEPROM, ...) EEPE close without any error message!

I can open an existing file, but if I try to edit, EEPE close again and again, same problem if I try to create a new file, EPEE close when I try to edit.

I already reinstall EEPE 3 times, same issue ...

I'm not a ubuntu specialist ...

If someone have an idea...

Thx for your help.

I'd call the program 'eepe' from the command line. It might get you more insight to the error. If I recall the last Issue I had was either 'spaces in the filename' or 'starting the model name with a number' cant remember which. check my message history. Whatever issues I find, I post about

I currently use eepe version 359, compiled from source, on ubuntu 12.10. Dont use eepe that much as I havent really delved into the depths of the TX

I reckon the problem you are having, is the same one that I had a while back. You will find the answer on the link below. Updating your Ubuntu will resolve your issue. I am now on 12.04 that I have worked on a lot to give me the classic look, as the GUI it comes up as stock with is a disaster

Most likely the answer to your problem is here ---> viewtopic.php?f=17&t=622

Updating Ubuntu to the next version will resolve your issue.
