i wonder if it is possible to use a switch to turn on and off the curve for a channel?
my flight control board has a initial limit below a certain value to be able to arm the quad.. but i found myself comfortable when throttle is curved -40~40
so i wonder if there is any way to assign a switch to enable the curve.. so I can turn the switch off to arm the quad .. then turn on for smother control?
thx
use switch to turn on/off curve?
Re: use switch to turn on/off curve?
You can simply use a 40% D/R on the throttle.
Alternatively, 2 mixer lines on your throttle channel, one always active at 100%THR, and a second one with 40% THR, Replace, and the switch you want in the Switch line. The effect would be the same.

Re: use switch to turn on/off curve?
You could use you throttle kill to do this, no need for a curve.
Like this:
CHx
40% THR
R -100% HALF Switch(THR)
When your throttle kill is enabled it will hold the throttle channel at -100. When you disable it, the throttle will go from -40 to 40

But then the quad would start and takeoff straight away when turning off the throttle cut. Maybe not so wise, seems safer to take off with +/-100%, then switch D/R on in flight.
Re: use switch to turn on/off curve?
No the motors would simply start turning at a low speed. If that is not the case how does he land it?

Re: use switch to turn on/off curve?
Switch to +/-100 before landing again.
-40% on the 9x is already 30% throttle, that's quite a bit, enough to lift a multicopter depending on the equipment you have on it.

Re: use switch to turn on/off curve?
my multi hovers at 45~55%(depending on batt volt).. so -40(30%) is perfect for pre take-off and landing....
i'll try on both.... but first off.. where can I find a documentation/instruction about the setup? i'm totally new to the mix.. i have been using only one mix per channel to keep things simple..
thx
