P.I.D. Autotuning for the EZBorard Lite V1.2 with it's EZFirmware for a CR10 3D Printer

What is P.I.D. Tuning ? :?:
P. I. D. (Proportional Integral Derivative) is the system the printers use for holding a set temperature.
This system controls how fast the printer reaches the set temperature
and how well it holds that temperature once it gets there.
Without doing the P.I.D. Tuning, numerous problems may arise.

For more information about P.I.D. Auto Tuning go here: https://www.th3dstudio.com/knowledgebas ... une-guide/
Also see Marlin gcode Commands here: http://marlinfw.org/meta/gcode/

Getting Started with P.I.D. Autotune
You will need the EZFirmware flashed to your EZBoard, find how here: https://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopi ... 29&t=12346
It may be helpful to use the GcodeSender Pronterface to view the PID Tuning progress
and to be able to send some gcode commands like: M503
You can find the GcodeSender Pronterface here: https://www.th3dstudio.com/knowledgebas ... onterface/
Or you may find it in your TH3D EZFirmware download package.
USB connecting Pronterface to your 3D Printer go to the upper left hand corner
and select the Com Port for your 3D Printer, next set the Baudrate to 115200
and then select Connect.

Steps used to run the P.I.D. Autotune

1) Go to: Configuration / Advanced Settings / Temperature / PID Autotune ........150.

2) Next press the Selector Knob ones and here you need to set the temperature for the kind of Hotend you have.
For the V6 All Metal Hotend the P.I.D. Autotune setting is 250.
And for the Stock CR10 Hotend the P.I.D. Autotune setting is 240.

3) Next press the Selector Knob ones more and the P.I.D. Autotune will start.

4) Next go back to the Info Screen and you should see the Hotend temperature going up.

5) The TH3D P.I.D. Autotune process may cycles several times, heating up and cooling down before it is done.

6) Next you will need to SAVE the new PID Tuning Values.
Go to: Configuration and selecting Store Settings
This will SAVE the New PID Values to your 3D Printer's EEPROM.

7) Next go to where you can sent Gcodes (like Pronterface) and enter the gcode command: M503
This will verify by showing you what you new PID Values are.
