Click on pictures to zoom in.
Find EZBoard Lite info here: https://www.th3dstudio.com/product/ezboard-lite/
Here is a very good video on installing this EZBoard: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWFK4f0 ... u0keqhDKqk

The stock CR10 control board is a low performing product.
Upgrading to the TH3D EZBoard Lite control board is a drop-in
upgrade which has a 32 Bit CPU, built in silent trinamic TMC
2208 drivers to the stepping motors and TH3D marlin firmware
with it's improved easy to use configuration setup for many
of the Creality printers.

Depending on what you have for hardware
and which model Creality printer you have,
some of the connections to the EZBoard
may be different then what you had with
the stock control board.

Some things to Note:
1)Before you begin, I suggest you take pictures of your mainboard wire connections
and maybe even label the wire-cables so to have a record of where they are
before you begin unplugging them.

2) The CR10 3D Printer is powered with 12V DC from the PSU.
Some of the other Creality Printers use a higher voltage.

3) You should look at each of the Green Terminal Block wires
and check that they are not tinned (soldered), because if tinned
it can cause a bad connection.
To fix, cut off tinned the part of the wire, re-strip the wire,
twist wire, insert into Green Terminal Block connection
and tighten the screw.

4) Fan 1 connection: is to be connected to the part cooling "Layer Fan" which the fan is near the Hotend.

5) FAN 2 connection: is for one of the control box fans which will shut off
when your are not printing, which I believe it is better have working all the time.
I chose to connect both (all the) CR10 control box fans to
the "Always On Power for Fans/Accessories".

6) I connected all the fans to the "Green Terminal Block" labeled "Always On Power for Fans/Accessories"
accept the part cooling "Layer Fan", which needs to be connected to Fan 1.

7) The Filament Sensor is connected above the FAN 2 connection
and is Polarity Sensitive, so make sure you have this connected
properly or you will break it.

8) The rest of the connections from my stock CR10 mainboard, are a one to one move to the new EZBoard
(same plug connection as the stock CR10 board).

9) Reassemble the Control Box.

10) Make all the proper cable connections back to your 3D Printer.

Flashing your new EZBoard Lite V1.2

The EZBoard comes without the TH3D firmware installed
as each 3D Printer needs to have it's own option selected
in the firmware before it is compiled.

See here for some-more info about flashing EZFirmware: https://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopi ... 29&t=12568

Only with the EZBoard, TH3D has an automated web tool to
help with choosing the needs selections and options,
see here: https://ezfirmware.th3dstudio.com/
TH3D automated web tool_a.jpg

1) I choose the "Online firmware configuration" and chose the proper selections.

2) Click "Summit" and wait until you see Status: "Success"

3) Then "Save File" and find it in your Down Load folder.

4) Copy and Paste this "firmware" file to a blank Micro SD card.
Note: there can NOT be any other files (stuff) on this Micro SD card.
Also this firmware.bin file must have the file name of firmware only.

5) With the EZBoard powered down install this Micro SD card with
the "firmware" file, into the EZBoard.

6) Power up the EZBoard and it will flash your TH3D EZFirmware onto the EZBoard Lite.

If you have made an improper selection(s) in the "Online firmware configuration", then redo
your online firmware configuration process to correct your previous configuration.

7) Next go to "Configurations" / "Advanced Settings" / "Reset EEPROM"
(will take you to "Reset EEPROM?" screen) / select "Init" you will hear a long beep
and wait until screen returns to the "Info screen".

P.I.D. Autotune

The next thing you need to do is calibrate the temperatures of the Hotend.
To do this you will need to run the P.I.D. Autotune.

See here for how to do the P.I.D. Autotune: https://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopi ... 29&t=12350
