I got the 9X with 9Xtreme upgrade board.

Now that the DRL has a free simulator (https://thedroneracingleague.com/simulator/)

My question is:
How to use the TX as a computer controller?

As you have the 9xtreme board just turn your radio ON, then plug it to a free USB port on your computer. Wait until the drivers install. Start your simulator and find the radio as a controller for it. Read the simulator's manual to learn how to calibrate the radio.
Don't forget to also create a model for the simulator on the radio itself.
