Hi Hans, yes it seems to be repaired.. Did 3 long flights with it yesterday. no problems so far.
The original 12 way connector was plugged and unplugged dozens of times in 6 years, it did very well, considering that I have been doing all the nice mods Mike was developing for the 9x radio all over these past years.. I can count on my fingers how many times this radio had the screws on. :D
So, i think the connector problem was kinda expected. Not very good when that happen though.. I wish there was a way to test all connectors :shock: :roll:

I couldn't detect my connector problem with a multimeter.. it would show good contact.. but if tye wire it was moved on a certain way, it would fail. Normally to fast for a multimeter to detect, but slow enough to crash a model :)
One of the pins failing was causing the radio to reboot.. the other problem was on the signal pin to the external module..
