Just the splash screen. The warnings are displayed ok.

Have you turned the splash screen off on the radio setup (general menu)?

Mike.

The stick reverse which uses the same graphics has moved to the hardware menu. The option you see in controls if for the sitck mode. please go to the hardware menu. This is the right place for it to be as it is ONLY hardware related, and you only need to change this option once, unless you change gimbals again ;)

If it is just the line above the mode option, then that is a change I did. I've moved that setting to the HARDWARE menu to prevent accidental modification, but the small images are still needed to show which stick goes with which control name.

I'll think on why your splash screen is missing. Maybe the radio "thinks" you have moved a stick (when you haven't), which cancels the splash screen.

Ok got it. When I switch on the radio, it shows very rapidly the 9xtreme word with the splash name below. But it's very fast and then the welcome sound is heard.

Hello from the Netherlands guys,

Got my board really fast. Had some l'll troubles, but got it fixed.
There is a difference in screws tho! Had to use the silver ones.

I'm new to model flying.
Had the TGY 9X for a long time, but didn't use it.
Now I ordered a quad and have the 9Xtreme installed.
Can't wait for my 250 racer to come in.

Ow, and this is me:

Some sound clips I have hanging around that might be useful :D

Edit: caveat, ok for private use only, not for commercial use.

You probably don't remember but sometime before when this radio had er9x-frsky m64, it had a problem with the inactivity alarm not activating, and you did a change in the software and it became fine. Now this problem with the splash screen, so im thinking that this radio has some jittering issue that prevents the splashscreen to show up (and before the inactivity alarm to trigger).
What do you think?

Hi All,
New here and installed my Smarties board in my LlySky TH9x about two weeks ago and works great so far.
You mentioned that with the XJT will not work with "D" series receivers. Are you just talking about Telemetry?
I ask because I just installed the XJT transmitter module and it works great with my X series and D series receivers, but I haven't connected the telemetry yet.
thanks.

An XJT bought in the EU probably won't work with 'D' receivers, but if bought outside the EU will not have the EU firmware and so is likely to work.

Deadband Problems

Has anybody had a problem with their deadband settings namely, when trying to set the RH or aileron width it skips the aileron and goes straight to the 6 pos switch, same thing in reverse. I've tried switching between v1.8 and v1.7 bootloader and back. I've tried earlier firmware versions but. This is the only glitch I've run across. Never had the speaker noise, never had the shutdown problem. The only gripe I really have is, this damn thing doesn't do harmonies very well at all.

I have the fix for that problem. I just need to finish sorting something else, then I'll post a new test version with the fix in it.

I wasn't trying to hurry you along at all. I was thinking (that's what that wood burning smell is) I hadn't seen anybody over there mention it and that made me wonder if it was just me or something I brought on? So ...

Hey Mike,
I understand your one of the "Queso Grandes" around here.
Ever since I first tried to register here the anti-spam software or whatever it is flags me has having a blacklisted IP and or email and says I'm on such and such list but the IP is not my IP and when I go look at the list, the IP it thinks I have nor my email is on any of the list. So, I have to use a VPN (which I have anyway) and some of the servers of the VPN provider have been used by spammers (naturally) so I have to pay attention to which server I choose or it goes off on me. I did send whomever (it said to) a note twice, but to no avail. I've been called a lot of things, rightly so in some cases but never a low down spammer.

need some cheese for my whine

I had that happen to me. I can't remember what the fix was. I contacted Rob Thomson who runs the forum.
