Where did you put the wav-file?
According to e.g. this post you have to put it in a folder named "music".
Your SD Card is formated with 32kb cluster size?

1. Press UP LONG, then LEFT 3 times to get to the SD CARD STAT display. The cluster size is the number on theright end of the second line.
2. Is you .wav file in MONO at a sample rate of 16kHz?
3. From the SD CARD STAT screen, press LEFT 6 times to get to the "Music" display (not the "Music List" display).Go down to the line labelled "File" and make sure your .wav file is selected there.
