x8r reciever and pxx model match

hi ive got both the taranis and 9xr pro ,im wanting to bind x8r with xjt modual in pxx mode with 9xr pro ive set model match to 1 in 9xr menu if i bind it to 9xr does this mean the reciever will always be number one? and if i wanted to rebind it too the taranis does it have to be 1 in the model match as well or does rebind reset the whole reciever? any help or info you could give me as i cant find much info on frsky model match anywhere. thanks idar

When you bind, the receiver number is set in the receiver at the same time. If you want to use the same receiver with the Taranis, you will need to rebind it, and the receiver number will then be set to that in the Taranis settings.

The receiver will only respond to the Tx (module) to which you bind it, AND to the receiver number set at that time.
