Just a quick one are the inputs for 3/6 position switches still limited or can I use any of the inputs for a 6 pos switch?
If not have you considered giving us direct access to the analog and digital inputs in the mixer. So as stock everything just works but allows variation for modifications.
Thanks.
Additional 3/6 Pos Switches
Re: Additional 3/6 Pos Switches
Look at the hardware menu. You can create more switches using the extra pins. Then, after you assigned a pin to a switch, it will show up everywhere a switch appears.
You cannot have unassigned pins in the mixer if that is what you are asking
If I'm not mistaken, you can change up to 4 two position switches to 3 position switches, but only the ELE switch can be used for the 6 position switch at ths moment. I think I have read recently that Mike wants to change that. Mike please correct me if I'm wrong..

Re: Additional 3/6 Pos Switches
To use a 6-position switch it needs an analog input. I currently only use the 'spare' analog input for this, and currently only the ELE switch may be replaced by a 6-position switch.
I gather some people might like to replace one of the pots with a 6-position switch so I will be looking in to this when I get time.
If a pot is replaced by a 6-position switch, it is still possible to use it, just you have to use some logical switches to decode it.
Mike.

OK I got it for 6 pos. The hardware page is somewhat confusing. In regards to what EXT1-3, DAC ANA and ELE actually do.

Re: Additional 3/6 Pos Switches
Also tiny bug, on the hardware page ELE has 2 spaces after it so the text that says switch is one space out of line with the rest.

ANA is a spare analogic pin used for the 3 position and 6 position switch mod.
ELE is the unused ELE switch pin that becomes free after doing the 3/6 position switch mod. It can be used to change another sw to 3 position or add a new 2 position.
DAC is another pin that can be used. Please see the top left of the mainboard on the first and second pictures.
