Turnigy 9xr pro constant beeping

I have just been playing around with various settings to get telemetry working, and for some reason as soon as I turn the handset on it start to beep and constant, please can someone tell me what it is and how to turn off.

What is beeping? the radio or the RF module?

My XJT module will beep out loud if I turn the radio on with no antena attached.

At first I thought it was something in the radio. But eventually I figured that out.

Any chance that’s your case ?

DO NOT turn any RF module ON without antenna. You will damage it completely or partially..
The XJT beeps to warn you...

The beeping on the DJT might be caused by something else, like an RSSI alarm programmed internally..

Because the RF power doesn't have anywhere to go without antenna and it kinda goes back to the module's power amplifier stage. This is a crude explanation of course..
And your's wouldn't be the first one getting damaged this way..

are you sure it's not the module? If it is that means the module is bad. Happened to me twice.
