debug voice alert files

Post by iFeghali » Tue Aug 14, 2018 11:14 pm

hello

i have generated the attached WAV files exactly the same way but 9XR Pro (r221) refuses to play one of them. learjet.wav is working, the other one isn't.
learjet.wav: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, Microsoft PCM, 16 bit, mono 16000 Hz
File: learjet.wav
File type ID: WAVE
Num Tracks: 1
----
Data format: 1 ch, 16000 Hz, 'lpcm' (0x0000000C) 16-bit little-endian signed integer
                no channel layout.
estimated duration: 0.870875 sec
audio bytes: 27868
audio packets: 13934
bit rate: 256000 bits per second
packet size upper bound: 2
maximum packet size: 2
audio data file offset: 44
optimized
source bit depth: I16
----

treinador.wav: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, Microsoft PCM, 16 bit, mono 16000 Hz
File: treinador.wav
File type ID: WAVE
Num Tracks: 1
----
Data format: 1 ch, 16000 Hz, 'lpcm' (0x0000000C) 16-bit little-endian signed integer
                no channel layout.
estimated duration: 0.841125 sec
audio bytes: 26916
audio packets: 13458
bit rate: 256000 bits per second
packet size upper bound: 2
maximum packet size: 2
audio data file offset: 44
optimized
source bit depth: I16
----
any way to tell what's going on ?

thank you

FIle names for voice are limited to 8 characters (before the .wav).

By the way Mike, I have noticed the voice pack for the latest firmware isn’t using the voice index as file names anymore. Can I still rely in the old voice index table (I.e. gear up = 76) ?

The latest firmware doesn't use numbered files. But the system files must have the exact name as in the default voice pack. The user fikes can have any name you want..
