POTS bar graph messed-up ?!?!

I'm using a Turnigy 9xr pro Tx.
I have a messed up display of graphical representation of stick and potentiometers positions that is driving me crazy.

I dunno why but on the screen (stick and pots position) the bars for the pots do not correspond to the physical pot position on the radio.

To be clear. The pot [PIT.TRIM] on the far left once activated moves the right end graphic bar on the screen, the middle pot [HOV.PIT ]( the middle one on the radio) activates the left most graphic bar on the screen, the right one pot [HOV.THR] moves the center bar on the display.

Maybe I messed something on the radio setup.

I'm using the firmware version v.3527-Mike - ersky9x-r218 MOD REVB-X

Appreciate your help

Franky

That is absolutely correct.
Middle pot is Pot number 1, Right Pot is number 2 and left pot is number 3.
If you haven't noticed, the middle and right pots are higher than the left pot. Therefore it starts counting from the middle pot.
As you know, ersky9x was originally developed for the 9x radios, and they have a slightly different configuration.
But yes, what you see is absolutely correct, and it has been like that since the beginning.

218 is a quite old firmware version. I suggest you go to www.er9x.com and update to the latest version 221.

The display originates from the original 9X radio where two pots are vertically on the top of the radio and the third one is on the front. The 9XR/9XR-PRO have physically moved the top two pots so all three are almost in a line.
The er9x firmware for the 9X and 9XR is exactly the same for both radios and ersky9x has simply continued with the same display.
I'll look into possibly changing the display order for the 'PRO. I'm just so used to the "PIT-TRIM" pot being POT3 and appearing on the right I've not really noticed it could be different (and I'm often using different radios where the pots are in different places).
Of course, changing it may then confuse others!

That would mean changing the pot sources on every models.. Or you mean just changing the screen order??

Just changing the on screen order !!

I shoul be wrong, but in a prevous version the bar graph appearance and location were just corresponding to the POTs on the radio position.

The screen has always shown from left to right P1, P2, and P3.

For this to be changed in a good way, the name of the pots themselves should be changed accordingly to match the screen. Then everything would match.. But that would mean having to re-program all the models using pots, as well as volume controls, etc. For me wouldn't be a problem at all, as my 9XR-PRO is not my main radio at the moment.
Even if it was my main radio, I don't have that many models as well anyway.. :)

What he said is that ersky9x code would need to be changed, but that has little chance of happening becasue confusing all existing users who have gotten used to something over years for a cosmetic thing one person is bothered by isn't very smart.
