Lcd options

I have just finished transferring 9xr pro parts into a custom case. I searched around and couldn't find info about lcd's. Is it possible to add an Optrex lcd to the 9xr pro board. I like th idea of a transreflective display. I see there is an option in the setup but assume it could just be there for other radios using the same firmware.

The Optrex display option is for the original "SKY" board that provides a second LCD connector to match the different connectivity of the alternative Optrex display. The 9XR-PRO does not support this in the hardware.

And the reason for the Optrex back then was that it was a better replacement for the relatively bad 9X LCD, but the 9XR's one is just as good.

The option has already been removed for the 'PRO version, I'm not sure when I removed it.

one more question about the lcd. Is it possible to invert the screen so it would work like a reverse glow lcd?

Do you mean black for white and white for black?

yup, so the screen is mostly black and the back light goes through the text

The next test version of ersky9x I post will have this in as an option for the 'PRO.

Probably, I had space on the menu page for the 'PRO to add the option choice, others need a bigger edit to provide the option.
I don't know if the Taranis LCD includes a hardware option to reverse the display so that may not have the feature.
