7-way Rotary Encoder

Post by rcInky »

Hi,

I'm thinking of replacing the four select buttons on my 9XR Pro with a rotary switch same as used to be done on the 9X.
Is it possible to wire all seven switch functions as it was on the 9X or are only the rotary switch functions through J1B available?
I have the v.1.1 board.

Cheers,
David

Yes, the 4 direction switches should wire in to the existing 4 direction buttons, and the encoder and centre button wire in as well.

Thanks for the response Mike,

I've been away hence the slow reply.
So it's solder fly leads to the PCB. I couldn't see any headers that seemed relevant but wanted to check to be sure.

Cheers,
