Help flashing

Post by thorek »

Hello everyone, I am brand new here, but have been lurking for awhile. I modded my eurgle radio as follows: blue backlight, frsky module inside, switch to switch between the outside slot or internal frsky, telemetry access, firmware upgrade plug. Bought a usbasp programmer from hobby king and startet trying to update firmware. but to no avail, all I get is this message when I try. went from win to mac.

Thanks for all your elp thanks

Thor

If you read the error messages they tell you what the problem is. avrdude cannot find your hex file. You need to run avrdude from the same directory where your hex file is. Or include the full path to the file.

Ok, managed to flash er9x basic to remote using eeprom program.
now I am having problems downloading the frsky hex and saving to the HD
This is the message:
Download failed: Cannot open /: Path is a directory.

dont get it, is there any other way of uploading frsky using eeprom to remote??

Software.
You probably have flashed the FrSky version of the firmware.
This requires, that you do the FrSky mod on the tx board. This physically reroutes the aileron and the throttle signal to two, up to that time unused pins, to free up the pins that are used to communicate with the FrSky module
