Re: Manual 9XR pro
My opinion is, go for ersky9x, much better, more complete, much more frequently updated. Opentx developers are betting on the taranis right now, go check the changelog. OpenTX is great, but only for Taranis. Hi all, Yesterday I installed OpenTX 2.0.13 on 9xr pro, where can I find manual for this ver...

[updated offer]6X 9x gimbals for sale
In excellent condition. As good as new. 5€ each. Postage included. Please be advised that these gimbals's wires are cut so i could replace them with the taranis ones, but there's enough wire to solder to. No Frsky box included due to weight management. Box will have a fragile warning for good treatm...

Re: Taranis Gimals in a 9X
And so my frsky taranis gimbals have arrived from hobbyking, non amplified and at least three of them had some sort of glue on the wires, as you can see, IMG1.jpg First i removed the wires from the plug and used those female plugs to insert the striped wire tip from the tx and soldered them. IMG2.jp...

Hi everybody,
Can anyone tell me for sure if this version of opentx or opentx itself, at this point, is able to deal with the reversed taranis gimbals issue in a 9X?
For what i have searched in this forum, i havent found this info.
thx in advance.

Re: Taranis Gimals in a 9X
Hi GajiraChongChong, If I remember correctly, the Pot failure began about a week or so after the upgrades. We were using these 9x Radios a lot and the first symptoms were the throttle dot would indicate being out of calibration. Also the throttle dot would float around by them selves. Recalibration...

Re: Taranis Gimals in a 9X
Hi bob195558, Thx for info, perhaps i didnt explained myself the right way, but it was never my idea to swap the 9xr / 9xr-pro gimbals. My idea was to swap the 9x ones, since they s**k, even though they are similar to the 9xr / 9xr-pro ones. If they felt like the 9xr ones, perhaps i would never do t...

Re: Taranis Gimals in a 9X
Hi GajiraChongChong, I think all the earlier amplified gimbals are gone now, if not I think both er9x and Open9x have in the firmware the ability to correct the direction of the Gimbals pots. Re: Taranis Gimals in a 9X
Good Evening everyone, for what i have seen er9x can handle pretty well the taranis gimbals and for what i last saw opentx couldnt handle. My question is if at this time (2.1.13) it can handle? Ive also seen posted the matching connections (colors) for the amplified gimbals, what about for the non-a...

I'm guessing you are loading the firmware from the "ersky9xr test versions" post. Try a later version from this post: http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4676#p65894 . I fixed a "model name editing bug" on the 15th Sep. Sorry for the confusion, I'll update the ...

Re: OpenTx r2940
Hi,
I have a turnigy 9x with the smartieparts board and TEZ (TEZ with r90 firmware), stock processor and when i install opentx 2.0.11 the THR and AIL switches keep highlited. I tried with er9x r813 and all worked fine, so there must be prob with opentx, i guess. A helping hand would be apreciated.
thx

OK, back to r90 then. Please double check the file you have, as s_mack says, is the valid hex file and not the html file. You may well have it correct, but go to this page: http://code.google.com/p/9x-telemetrez/source/browse/trunk/src/telemetrEZ.hex , then right click on the "View raw file&qu...

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
If the flashing of the r90 for the TEZ is OK, then this should now work. I understand the switches did work when you had r86 on the TEZ and the TEZ > r89 option turned off. To check the flashing is working correctly, could you put r86 back on the TEZ and check to see if the switches then work (with...
