The forum does not allow bmp extension, and photobucket converts everything to jpg.
I am attaching zip files with the bmp versions when i post new splash screens, eventually i will have all the images available as bmps in a zip file, there are a lot of imagea, takes time.

Basically , a jpeg is 24bit, splash screens are only 2bit (2 colour) , your bmp is 256 colour or higher, just save your bmp as a 2bit image. and those pixels will disappear.

*** Most Important , you cannot import jpeg files. Silly question I know, but do you have a solid 3.3v to the module? How are you driving it? Clive It's not a silly question, I use a 3.3v ubec. :D It's attached to battery voltage on the board. ar9000's are still playing silly, the thing is, when I reinstall the amtx10 into the hp6dsm, it works like a charm.
The ar 9000's work for all the 6 channels, it's just channel 1 get's thrashed by 4.

so... like multiple flash images, or on that's 1028x64, and 'blit' every 128 pixels into the frame,, and have a 10 frame animation? or a random flash page every time you boot up, if you load it up with 2,3 or more images? Hmmmmm...

...all the wires are grey except one that is red.where do i solder the red one...and wich one goes where ;) I know you've got it working, but a rule of connectors.. red wire (red strip or dotted line on a wire)represents pin 1, then the next wire 2,3..4..5 and so on. Just an idea I had. Also with a compressed file, which is faster, decompressing data then displaying it, or just displaying it. Sometimes compressed data takes more than uncompressed too, depends on the method. Again, it was a thought, and definately more suited for the new board. I've made some war...

128x64 are the proper image dimensions. The ones i post are that size.
Just make sure the image you are importing are that. Larger files, or incorrect image dimensions
Would give you some funky results.(steps 7,8)

What image are you having issues with?

@ Crucial, I haven't zipped up all the bmp's yet. I made all those before the eepe upgrade to replace splash images was made. The windows one has been done for a few days. It doesn't auto update from within eepe. Goto the eepe google site, and download it from the main page link. You'll see a new icon on the top bar that lets you change your splash screen. You also need the latest firmware for your radio. It's a blast, and...

can you use opposite contrast on the letters and put them in the middle of the chopper, along a horizontal centerline?
