I just tried it with a sky9x eeprom previously saved with an earlier eepskye version and identical problem.

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Mike. Latest test version of eepskye Jun 23 2014 has problems. Model 01 looks ok but all other models lose their settings completely. The names of the models show correctly in the initial menu but when a model is selected for editing then all settings are missing except for the model in 01. This pro...

That sounds like a good idea. I have both Taranis and Sky9x so it will make it much easier to program and move models to the other transmitter.

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Could the beeps be a problem caused by eepskye? I originally loaded the new test version straight on to the Taranis transmitter with the bootloader. I had no beeps after the countdown to zero. Then I did some extensive programming of a model with eepskye (June 6, 2014 ver.) and reloaded the eeprom w...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

I prefer no beeps after the timer has reached zero but do keep the negative display. I would prefer this for both timers. We are getting too many beeps from the radio for different things. e.g. Pot/stick centring, D type module warnings. My usual solution with a questionable beep is to land and try ...

I have a set but haven't installed them yet. The pcb antennas that come with the Taranis X series receivers are supposed to be better tha...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

I have been using both timer voice countdowns on OpenTX and find them very useful. Timer1 is set for 30 seconds for the motor run time and Timer2 is set for 10 minutes or the specified total flight time for ALES. Both timers start at the same time. There are no conflicts is this case. A selection bo...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

I setup some timers on a previously programmed model on my sky9x transmitter and the reset worked properly. The Timer2 has the same problem with countdown as the Taranis. I tried to duplicate João's problem above with a new model and my timers worked properly.

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

I tried the test version on my Taranis and it works correctly with SW2m. I will try later on my Sky9x transmitter. I don't anticipate any problems with the Sky9x. I did notice that Timer1 gives audible minute and second verbal countdown but Timer2 doesn't give any audible voice or beep countdown. Paul

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Setting for SF1 and SF2 is simply L2. L2t is not available as a selection. It looks like L2 only triggers the reset. If I reduce the throttle below the a>x THR 85 setting and then increase it again then it triggers another reset.

I am not sure of what you mean by the timer operation. The reset I am talking about is part of the Special Functions menu in OpenTx. Re: ERSKY9X Coding

I have one sky9x transmitter on OpenTX 2.0.0 and Ersky9x on the other two. I am not happy with the OpenTX and have decided to simplify by switching it to Ersky9x as well. Re: Taranis setup for telemetry sensors

Your charger will always show more mah back into the battery then the telemetry showed that you used. This is due to the inefficiencies in the charging process. Some of the current put into the battery is given off as heat. You can notice this most when you use a high C charge rate. Some batteries a...

I am using a Taranis with your latest test version of ersky9x, X8R receiver, and the FAS100 into a FVAS-02H high precision vario connected to the SPort. I had the same problem with earlier versions of erSkye. The SP-40A amp sensor straight into the SPort does not have a problem.

I change my custom screen to read A1, FasV, and RxV. The original problem was A1 on the custom screen. It rapidly fluctuates between .3 and .4. When I disconnect the battery on the aircraft it then shows 5.7V which is the BEC output. The 5.7V was probably the last voltage it read before the disconne...

When I use my FAS-100 on erskye for Taranis with X8D receiver and FVAS-02H the voltage on A1 fluctuates between a reading of .4 and the receiver voltage.
The log file shows the same problem. It is either 0.4V or what looks like the receiver voltage 5.6V.

Re: Switch Upgrades

If you don't need more pots then it is just a matter of relocating 2 of the pots at the top of the radio to the sides. The holes where the pots were could be covered over or a new switch installed.
