Re: OK, let's document this!

Had I made that joke on rcg it might have earned me the ever popular "trolling, trying to provoke a response from someone" badge of honor. (the response would be a laugh, duh) Among others, I once won one for "making fun of a group or individual". It was a non existent group (as ...

Hyperion 100mah 25C - see pic

Nano-Tech 130mah 25C - same connector as Hyperion
currently $0.49 @ the global store, $1.38 @ US West
6.6mm thick
10.2mm wide
38.8mm long

I either solder the connector leads to the tabs or use the nine eagle connector.

Re: Voices in my head have gone.

I've got (3390) v218 because of the deadband fix along with B/L v1.8. Although eepskye is installed and configured for auto-updates, I never actually open it and use it. I use the drivers it installed and access the card directly for f/w updating. I just NOW opened it up and it updated to v419 befor...

I'm sorry. Let me ask it this way, how do I know if I need to update to "eepe/eepskye for Windows Provisional version 419"?

Re: Are you kidding me?

Thanks for the info. [Hopefully] I'll hold off a little so it doesn't get added to the "need to finish what I've started list" which seems to grow by an order of magnitude (seemingly) everytime I look.

Re: Voices in my head have gone.

Thanks Mike, I never thought to look at Eepe/Eepskye since last look it was at v218, now I see it's at v419 and in Windows under details shows today's date as date created, modified and date accessed and has always been listed as "eePeInstall.exe". Is there any way to know what has changed...

They say, "It's better to keep quiet and have people presume your an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." That being said, can someone tell me what is v-3390 and where is the version number at?

Re: Are you kidding me?

@ kaos, The CX-10A's were h/wired with 100mah and I replaced them with Hyperion 100mah ($0.98) and Nano 130mah and used Pico connectors and got away from the cheap batteries with the built-in protection circuits. Charge a bunch at once on my 208B. I would be curious as to what size the batteries are...

João,
No need to apologize. The last part was me trying to reiterate that it was just my opinion and consequently probably worth less than the going rate for opinions.

IIRC, the processor on both boards is being used. Less and less stressful jobs are sent to the stock/oem processor so, if the OEM isn't working ... but, if you can solder ... .

Re: OK, let's document this!

For some reason I got the impression that when it said "let's document this", Steven was writing a manual or guide for the 9XTreme board only. I personally feel that it is undesirable to have 9XTreme documentation contain other platform information. Ersky9x may be on a lot of platforms but...

Re: Useful Links When Getting Started

The document is titled "9XTreme - Useful links when getting started" I didn't title the topic correctly, my mistake. I did start a section at the bottom of the document "Things to watch out for". Yours was the first entry in a very useful addition.

Re: Useful Links When Getting Started

Hey João, Is there a section or could there be a section where we could put "Things to watch out for" in one place? It would sure make it easier to to keep track of them instead of trying to list each one. You being one of the more diligent mods (as in your continually checking for spam) c...

Deadband Problems

Has anybody had a problem with their deadband settings namely, when trying to set the RH or aileron width it skips the aileron and goes straight to the 6 pos switch, same thing in reverse. I've tried switching between v1.8 and v1.7 bootloader and back. I've tried earlier firmware versions but. This ...

Re: 9Xtreme Connecting XJT Module

Hey Bob,
Thanks for replying. For the DJT bl = tx and white = rx.
BUT what about the XJT using the "D" receivers and the XJT with the "X" receivers. Do you still say bl = "S" pin and white = power pin on "X" receivers on XJT?

thanks

@ Bob, I have the XJT and the D8R ll Plus receiver and you stated "To use the D-Series receivers, telemetry, the White wire connects to the Txd pin." So, the white wire goes to the "transmit data" pin on the "data port" Where does the black wire go? To pwr? Since I will...
