Hi, having listened to Greg's sounds, this will probably add confusion but I don't hear those "clicks" on mine at all ! Voice files are played well, just the faint noise in the background all the time the radio is operating normally.

Re: speaker hiss
As stated earlier, the noise I hear doesn't bother me.....it's not that loud, but as requested, powering on in boot loader mode, I actually hear a lower frequency sort of "buzzing" than heard when the radio is operating normally. Elaborating on something I mentioned in an earlier post, if ...

Re: 9Xtreme speaker hiss
I was just playing around with my 9x and have a couple of observations that may assist diagnosis by those more capable than me :- 1) The "noise" seems to be independent of volume control (setup on P2). 2) It doesn't really become apparent until after all alarms have been cleared after swit...

Re: 9Xtreme speaker hiss
Sorry to add in this way, but yes mine "hisses" as well....but it's not something that bothers me personally. As said by others, the Taranis does it as well and that's never bothered me either. I think outside, it's no problem at all.

Re: ERSKY9x Questions
Yes it is planned. I just haven't had time to add it. Also, I don't have such a sensor, so won't be able to test it. Mike. Thanks Mike, I've just got one from T9, but they are a bit pricey.....I would be willing to lend it to you for the purpose of testing etc. Let me know by a pm if you want to do...

Re: ERSKY9x Questions
Hi, apologies if this has been covered before but I don't think the current ersky9x 218 can display airspeed from an FrSky X8R with the N2 industries airspeed sensor ? I checked what manuals I could find but the Aspd value was not listed as an option. Are there any plans to include this telemetry va...

I remember it well, as I used a scalpel and broke several blades in the process ! Probably should have used a Dremel.....

Re: 9Xtreme Upgrade Board for 9x Radios
Thanks SM, I noted that Mike did say XJT / Sport was supported on the 9xtreme (about 5 pages back), and I've seen an video who has the XJT in a 9x but I'm not sure what modifications he made to the x9 before installing the XJT module, or if the telemetry even worked :p) Based on that I ordered the ...

Re: er9x development
Hi Mike, thank you for the info.....please only add RPM to the 64, if you have the time. I'm considering buying a new 9X for the 9xtreme and keeping the original 9X as it is, so it would be good, but it's fine if you don't.

Re: er9x development
I am keenly awaiting the arrival of the 9Xtreme board, so this question is not very important, but I would still like to know the answer if possible..... I cannot receive RPM telemetry on my 9X (64 processor) from an X8R receiver with an FrSky Sport sensor, bound in D16 mode. I read somewhere that M...

Re: er9x development
Bob B.....thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention in my previous post that I have OpenTX 2.1.3 loaded on my Taranis. What I was trying to do was use an X8R receiver with the FrSky update to correctly handle analogue servos, as I had serious problems with an HS65MG servo in a new glider, fitted wit...

Re: er9x development
Well after trying all evening to recreate the problem.....I haven't ! I'm pretty certain the conditions were the same as when I saw the problem a few days ago but nothing I've done this evening has shown any problem whatsoever. I recalled after the earlier post, that at the time, I tried removing th...

Re: er9x development
Hi, I just flashed my TH9x with latest er9x firmware with r819 frsky revision. I also have smartieparts hardware onboard programming board and 9x-telemetrez board. Telemetrez was flashed to r90 and option for telemetrez was enabled fw version in eepe. Also noticed that menu is popping up for time t...
