Re: ERSKY9x Rev. B1 User Area

I should be able to put a new revision up tomorrow with these 'features' modified.

Re: Audio (voice)

Most of the info is in the first post of this thread, anyone able to 'wiki' it?

I think all the voice changes, except the last addition of two special switches, made it to the official release r766 now available. Hopefully, future updates will now be done formally by new revisions there.

Re: er9x development

Having added the voice option, er9x is now back under svn on the er9x site. It is also compiled using a newer compiler that saved some flash. It has been tested, but just double check all seems OK before flying.

Re: Trim Input Channels

You can get the trim value using a single mix, just include a curve, set to all zero. This stops the stick from affecting the mix, but the curve is not applied to the trim so the trim still works. For the second thing, again consider a curve. If you set a curve to -60, -30, 0, 30, 60, you get a 60% ...

Re: Audio (voice)

Not impossible, but is it safe? On er9x, suppose you have model1 playint 0101.wav as ME109 and model2 playing 0102.wav as "Spitfire". Now, using eepe/companion you change your model1 and model2 to different models. You would need to change the files on the SD card, difficult if you can't g...

Re: ERSKY9x Rev. B1 User Area

Is this voice model name just at switch on, or whenever a model is loaded? It may be tricky, particularly on er9x, keeping in sync. If you upload a different model to a slot, you need to make sure the voice name tracks it. On ersky9x we might be able to the model name as the filename ( the first 8 c...

Re: Altitude alarm using frsky hub

The templates use up a lot of flash, Erazz dropped them on the FrSky version because it was getting close to not fitting any more, I agreed with that. So the er9x-frsky is NOT (no templates). We are simply pushing the limits of the stock board all the time. Putting the templates back in either may n...

I'm trying not to eat up all the EEPROM, but maybe we have to use some to give the functionality we need. It may mean you have to load the models you wish to fly into the Tx if we can only store a few. I have a couple of mode values left, I only used 6 so far. I could try to add an extra mode settin...

Re: helping fellow flyers upgrade to er9x

Goes like that sometimes unfortunately. Most people are grateful for what we can do, and are even prepared to wait until time permits to do something extra. Maybe, get people to 'play' with eepe. If they can't (or won't) then don't mod a radio for them. I assume a clipped Sing cub comes from Fortuga...

25 should be "foot", the idea is that I MAY be able to change to the singular units. So 3 metres, 2 metres, 1 metre. At the moment you will get 1 metres.

I've added another new er9x.hex for testing to the first post, together with the current list of sounds as a .csv file.
This new version includes two, RAM based, options for voice switches, see viewtopic.php?f=7&t=545&start=750#p15959 for details.

No. I haven't had any time to look into that. I have a feeling it may take a bit of sorting out. I'm toying with the idea of using something like ZMODEM over bluetooth, or the other serial port to give access to the SD card files for updating them. Maybe not quite as easy to use, but would save open...

No, I've only just finished the code on ersky9x, it's easier to test on there. I only 'published' it because of the safety switc bug I left in. I'm still waiting on Erazz to build the er9x release, r764 is only sources committed. I'll try for a test version of er9x, and put it on the first page of t...

There's so much in this code it's quite difficult to keep checking everything is still working properly. I probably need to write a 'Hub Emulation' program so I can feed in test data without flying. I've already got a POT on the A2 input of a receiver to allow some testing. Check you haven't got Gps...

OK, r91 fixes that safety switch bug, I caught it in er9x, missed updating the same thing in ersky9x. I'm running to separate sets of sources. We'll try it as is and see. Each file can take 0.8 to 1 second to output, so for 356m we need "3" "hundred" "fifty" "6" "metres". That's 5 separate voice files so 4 toi 5 seconds to speak. Your height will have changed in that time anyway. It also de...

I assume with er9x, and you have the MET/IMP set to IMP otherwise it will be 400 metres. I thought it was still working, but I'll check. Problem is we have rain and more forecast continuously for the next several days.

Ersky9x r90 is now available. This includes voice. You need a SD card with the voice files on it. In the downloads section of the ersky9x code page is a zip file containing some voice files. Unzip it onto your SD card in a sub-directory called voice. Also in the zip file is a .csv file. This contain...

It's still the GNU GCC compiler, just I'm now using V4.7.0 instead of 4.3.3 that I was using. I'm using the windows version, but Erazz has the version for Linux.
