Hi Mike, just wondering when you might commit the verison that has the trainer port reversing fix? I'd like to give it a try. Or if you can point in the direction of where it is, I'll try to enable it on my system.
Cheers

Re: Plans to support ersky9x?
I think going forward, there will be a need for at least a converter, or the new ersky-eepe will need to load the old eepe files. As Brent sells more boards people will want to just copy over thier models. At this point though, all I really would like is a way to backup all my models, with the corri...

Re: ersky9x - what next?
FWIW, all I really want is er9x on the ersky hardware. I can't solder for @#$ and that was my #1 reason for wanting ersky9x. I'm excited about the possiblites and want to see what happens, but er9x is great and I'm happy with it and eePe. I can't believe Mike got the drivers and base FW running so q...

I just used the compile-win.cmd
My install of msys isn't correct, but it seems to have completed the compile.
No worries, I'm just playing around.
Thanks

Re: ERSKY9X Coding
I'd like to start brushing up on my coding skills, or lack there of, and was looking at the YAGARTO boards. I'm assuming we are not using a JTAG for this? Which YAGARTO is the most appropriate to use?
Thanks

Re: Plans to support ersky9x?
C9x tries to be a holder for every fw while eePe focuses on er9x. I maintain er9x and eePe so they will always work together. :) So back to my original question... ;) Is ersky9x (the firmware not the board) going to be included in eePe? Or will there be eSKYePe..e ? :) By the way, personally, I'd l...

Re: ERSKY9x Rev. B1 User Area
Thanks for the info Mike. I assume that 3.3v out the trainer port wouldnt effect actual trainer function to a master radio? Would there be a case where some other radio, would expect 5v? It's not a big deal, I can always pick up a different usb device, but I wanted to post it just to be sure it wasn...

Re: ERSKY9x Rev. B1 User Area
Yep. Like I said it was working on er9x on stock board. It works fine with dx6i. When I check the trainer screen in radio setup it shows as slave. When I change the (nano seconds?) u300 to u100 I get a little bit of signal flashing, and if I play around with the frame length I get the signal flashin...

I don't know if I missed something, or installed something incorrectly, but my trainer port is not working for ppm output to a usb sim cable... Is there a setting I forgot to turn on?
Thanks
ps. just to be specific, it was working with er9x on stock board.

Hey Brent, I may need some help installing that fix, but I'm not too worried about it untill the hot weather comes... even then I guess it's not too much of a concern.

More flight test results; Flew my T-34 Mentor for a couple of packs this morning. Using Frsky module and telemetry worked perfecty. No problems at all... and no crashes! I'm more careful with my T-34. ;) As for the mcpx mix, I've never noticed a problem with pitch, it seems to fly fine, but I'm not ...

Yep thats what I did for the module end, servo connector in the inside and ran the cable through the hole on top where my old antenna was. (just for now)
My mcpx model is nothing fancy.. attached though if you want to see it.

Re: Thread renaming suggestion.
Maybe Mike could just start an offical sounding Software bug reporting thread. Or just rename one that he feels is already on that topic. The Rev B1 thread is pretty much all hardware talk and Skynorth is right under the title as the creator of the thread. If those two threads were stickied that wou...

Thread renaming suggestion.
Just a suggestion that perhaps a couple of threads could be renamed to indicate where we should put our questions and comments? 1 thread for Hardware issues (the Rev B1 users thread) 1 thread for Firmware issues (not sure which on is best to post in) 1 thread for flashing issues 1 thread for general...

Re: Flight testing..
Just wanted to report in that I got my frsky telemetry working in ersky9x firmware. I didn't have a mico-headphone connector so I just used a servo cable and connected to the pins inside. Not all that pretty, but its working. And guess what?! no soldering of processor pins required!! :) The only thi...

I get the feeling that C9x is getting pretty big pretty fast. Many firmwares on many boards. It's amazing how fast this is all happening all of a sudden.

Turns out the event is still on, they just renamed it and are asking folks to maiden their planes before hand.... It's called Ultimate Fun Fly now.

Re: Frsky A1 voltage divider calibration setting .
I've been looking for this info... thanks!
Can I add another question in... so if I have the "stock" frsky voltage sensor using the higher ratio (6:1) I would set A1 to 19.8v right? I have found that 5.9:1 works better so I could use 19.4?
Thanks
Dave

Re: Flight testing..
Yep, I'm talking about the Parkzone UltraMicro to be specific. It's a DSM2 built in board so I like to test my homemade DSM module with that and the MCPx before I fly anything bigger. So far they are both working perfectly with er9x on ersky. But it does fly inverted very well... It's ME that doesn'...

Maiden Fest has been canceled. MAAC will not sanction the event becase, according to MAAC rules you can not maiden an aircraft in the presensce of specktators. The aircraft must be deemed flight worthy and tested before flying at an event. I do understand thier point. I just hope they rename the eve...

Cheers!! and thanks for all your hard work.

Well maybe not Gigitty gigitty... but still a time saver. I noticed there are some bugs or incompatiblities. Luckily I flew my mcpx first and not my 500! :) It seems that many of the mixes are not converted correctly. The switches are missing or incorrect and I had a curve that was missing. Again, I...
