Re: ERSKY9X on Taranis

Just a follow up from previous posts. The bench testing with ersky9x on the Taranis all went well and the field testing also proved successful with about 12 flights and no glitches. The only issue is that in this version of the FW (erxd-r218) the Copy Trim function doesn't work on any of the channel...

Re: ERSKY9X on Taranis

Yes, if I change the setting from PPM to PXX all the remaining settings change. The receivers I'll be binding to are Frsky. I've got a Delta 8 outputting PWM (and all the associated spaghetti) and a D8R-XP outputting CPPM. I'm assuming that the "XX" part of PXX means that the settings are ...

Re: ERSKY9X on Taranis

Thanks Joao & Mike I've got the sound pack installed and working :) I think I've got the 3POS switch and SL configured as well but I'll need to check it out on my model which leads me on to another question. In the original Taranis OpenTX FW there was a menu option to bind the internal module wi...

Re: ERSKY9X on Taranis

Open eepskye and download your eeprom from the taranis onto it.. Now open eepe and open your saved eeprom from the 9XR. Drag the models one by one from the 9XR eeprom to the taranis eeprom in eepskye. This will copy them. An error will be displayed but you can ignore it. Now burn the taranis eeprom...

Go to the "Burn" menu/ configure and make sure the box "Use SAM-BA" is not ticked. Then start your taranis with both horizontal trims towards the center. You should be in bootloader mode. Now plug your USB cable. Two drives should appear on your desktop after a few seconds. One ...

Model Restore from 9XR to Tarnis Running ERSKY9X?

I've managed to install ersky9x erx9d-r218 on my Taranis (not Plus). I did this by flashing the FW using Companion9X Version 1.52 on a PC running Ubuntu 14.04. For some reason Companion has connection issues with the USB in Windows 7, hence the use of Ubuntu. Meanwhile, I have saved my models via an...

Re: Copy Trim - Doesn't Work As Expected?

There appears to be something strange going on. I created a new model, gave the ELE a thumb load of trim, went to Limits>Copy Trim and the same result i.e. nothing passed to sub trim. So, I tried again but this time on the AIL and RUD. This time the trim values were passed across to sub trim as expe...

Re: Copy Trim - Doesn't Work As Expected?

It doesn't matter if I press Menu long or short. When I press Menu the Copy Trim dialogue on the screen flashes and the Tx beeps but nothing gets passed to the sub trim. I'm sure this has the M128 processor. Not sure if it helps but here's the EEPE file.

Re: Copy Trim - Doesn't Work As Expected?

Nope. Still doesn't work. Tx is Mode 2 with standard RETA configuration. I just tried again with exactly the same result. Nothing is being passed across to the sub trim menu with channel 2 (ELE) remaining at zero?

Copy Trim - Doesn't Work As Expected?

I'm running er9x-r817 on a Turnigy 9XR For a while now I've been wondering why I have to re-trim my model after using the function: Limits>Copy Trim , so I set it up on the bench to have a look at what was going on. I flew the plane through a few circuits and where I needed to put in quite a bit of ...

Passing Trim to Sub Trims?

I recall reading somewhere that after making slight trim adjustments there is a way in ER9X to pass the revised trim settings to the sub trims menu and therefore zero the trim settings on the Tx. I've read the new manual but it would appear I've missed it :?:
