Switched 2 cell LiFe balance charge socket
For some time I have successfully used switched 3.5mm audio jacks as a useful socket for providing both power to the receiver, and charging of the battery. The idea simply being that when the male jack is plugged in, the receiver is unpowered and the charge circuit enabled - when the jack is removed...

As a thought. ...
If you flight controller expects a voltage... say 0-5v...
A small DC speed controller can be made to deliver the voltage using the input from the channel as the source.

Re: Frsky - Europe needs the D8 protocol and D-Recievers
To be fair... The reason frsky has done this is because it is no longer legal to sell equipment in Europe that uses this protocol. This is the result of new eu legislation on how the 2.4g band is used. Silly thing is... it's illegal to sell the gear. .. but not currently illegal to use it! So the so...

Re: OpenLRS - buzzing from speaker
Buzzing is caused by the rf from the antenna in close proximity to the speaker.
Your options are:
1. Relocate the antenna
2. Shield the inside of the tx and speaker with insulated foil.

Re: GoogleCode Closing
Rob, that would be very helpful. All the install files for eepe/eepskye need around 28 megabytes, and the er9x/ersky9x release files need around 4 megabytes. I would think I only need the latest release stored, so a total of around 50 megabytes should be sufficient. Thank you. Mike. I will sort out...

Re: Taranis plus antenna warning - caused crash
The 'antenna warning' message is sounded when the phisical antenna in the radio has a problem. Chances are it was soldered badly.. or the coax has a flaw.
So yes.. replacing the back board would work - but my guess is they could have gotten away with just replacing the antenna.

Re: Port to FS-T6?
Why dont you make a start by converting the coee you have to work within the context of opentx? Moat if not all hardware bits are abstracted out into separate blocks of code. Biggest issue you will have will always be getting people on board behind the specific radio hardware. Kind of needs a critic...

Hacks of the opensource systems is a big issue. If you leave them untended for any length of time you can be sure to get a hack.
The same hackers took out dozens of our clients sites. Good ol wordpress for you.

Jusy setup a regular 4ch model.
Exact channel orderingy will depend on your flight controller.

Maybe the 'Protocol' field should change to read just:
Protocol:
-> FRSKY HUB
-> FRSKY SPORT
-> JETI XBUS
-> ANALOG VOLTAGE
Not sure if there would be enough space on-board to compile all the protocols as standard!
