Re: Help for FrySky Telemetry signal and er9x/ersky9x set u
FrSky vario always changes constantly due to interference from receiver or electrical noise on wires. I finally gave up on mine and switched to the Winged Shadow How High. It is accurate and does not vary. Try placing your FrSky vario as far as possible away from receiver antenna's and servo wires. ...

Re: ERSKY9x Questions
You have to use Companion 9x for backup and restore for ersky9x boards. Some settings may change slightly. I have noticed this only with timer switches. eePe does not support erSky9x yet.

Re: FrSky Amp/Current Sensor.
It will show if your BEC can supply proper voltage when all of your servos are operating. If your voltage drops below 5V when operating all of your servos at the same time on the ground then you may have a problem in the air when the servos have to push against the airflow loads. When the voltage dr...

Try different speakers. The one I used originally was very weak but the one I got from Brent with my second board was very much louder.

I just tried a 16Gb card in my trans. It wouldn't work and had similar CID CSD to Playmobil's. SCR was all FFFF. My 4 GB card works fine as usual.

I set a safety switch to read out my frsky vario every 16 sec. Even though I zeroed the altitude it would still read out the actual altitude which was 660 metres.

Re: ERSKY9x Questions
My ersky9x with Frsky telemetry module is powered by 2 Trustfire Lion's with no problems. The specs on the Frsky module say a minimum voltage of 6.0 volts so your voltage warning should be set higher than that. With those lion cells you should have a minimum voltage warning of at least 7.0 volts. Paul

My 4 Gb card that gave problems earlier now shows Ready 0008 and lots of data other than 0000 in CID CSD and SCR.
Thanks Mike. Looking forward to what can be stored there. I can't imagine being able to fill 4Gb.

Re: Vario
I have also have the same problem. It seems to be a very common opinion of the FrSky Vario. The further you can get the vario and hub away from the other electronics, the more stable the reading. Unfortunately, the most common use of an altimeter will be in a glider and they usually have the least a...

The original SD card I tried was a Lexar 4gb about 2 years old and not a very fast one. I also tried another Lexar 4gb, 2 Sandisk 16Gb, and 1 Sandisk 32Gb with identical results. The 32 Gb is new and the others are several years old.

Just tried r66 and still problems with SD card, however, more info now. I still get NOT Ready but 0000 to the right with no SD card inserted and 0001 with the card inserted. CID CSD and SCR have all 0000 with or without card.

I found the problem with my DSM2 model match issue. It turned out to be the receiver I was using. It was an Orange R415 and whenever it is powered up without a valid signal received then the servos are driven to the max position. It does prove that the model match was working correctly, however I wi...
