According to the HC05 diagram, is that pin #11 ?

Of course ! I saw there is a bps speed to set in the "general" menu, is that 9600 ?

Re: Adding Bluetooth module

I would like to add HC05 module in order to drive my BT phone with FrSky Logger in the same way as the TH9X; I plugged it in COM3 and I was able to bind it but no datas...it seems the right bps is 9600 ? where is the issue ?

Re: 9XR-PRO Hacks and Fixes

I discovered a dangerous issue on my PRO: the 5 pin header is fitted on the wrong side of the pcb, that occur the pins protrude only 11mm instead 13mm and give random contact with the FrSky module, it is easy to have the leds shutting down just by slightly knocking it.

Re: FRSky XJT is On its Way to Me; Where is the Smart Dashbo

About the BT interface (COM3 ?) is it linked straight to the serial port of the FrSky module or linked to the PRO MCU ? so it can give datas not only from FrSky but also a lot more from the main board. In that way the androïd apps could be rewrited to offer more...

Re: PXX/SPort

Hi Mike,

I'm not sure but, page 10 of FW 2.0.8 I can see three options for telemetry, the first is S.Port; that is to say it would able to interface XJT module with the PRO ?

Re: failure

R9 has a variable value along with the current: around 0 with my DVM ometer -what current ?- and around 50 ohm with 100 mA

Mike can you confirm R9 is 0.1 ? I have to purchase one.

Thanks

Re: failure

Of course I removed the strap and I tested R9 on my bench, I believe it is definitely a bad part;I don't know how many mA my Ometer use to test it but I guess it isvery low...

Anyone know where I could find that smd part ?

Re: failure

more and more strange: I desoldered R9 and my Ometer tell me 0 ohm...I have to make a test with a drain of 100 mAh to know what happens...

any idea ?

Re: failure

After removing the strap it seems there is something bad in R9: when I put my test point softly I get around 55 ohms and if I push harder I get near 0 ohm, maybe this is defective or poor soldered.

Thank you Mike, I shorted U1 and now it works... Re: failure

Hi, With no load, HF module and U10 disconnected, I get 10 volts, with U10 connected or module only 5 volts. I can see U1 is used to switch power, what is it ? Q are transistor but I don't know that chip. Maybe the issue is there: on one of his leg I have 10 volts, on the opposite leg I have 5 volts...

Re: failure

I tried to short the thermal fuse but nothing better, I continue my investigations and I can see there is some circuitry with three transistors between the fuse and the switch, for what purpose ?

Which voltage has to be applied on the main board on U10 black wire ?

Re: failure

Hi Brent, Well, after a glance to that circuitry it appears the main board is powered directly by the pack through the black wire of U10; something strange is the screen turned off during I worked with the Tx; when I measure voltages I can see 10 volts with U10 disconnected and drop down 5 volts whe...

I can measure around 5.5 volts on black and grey wires of U12 with no HF, but this go down 3.4 with the HF load; it seems the issue come from the center power board ? Thank y...

Which OpenTx FW I can use to set the proper blade count ?

I successfully link the HW interface with a JST connector, available at HK.

Re: JETI 777

This is a FW problem: at the very first Jeti FW- I can't remember which FW- the screen displayed a menu which allowed to go to the datas, nevermind the Rx is or not working and the sensors linked.

Re: Jeti 1464

Hi Bertrand, I just flashed the last ER9x (777) Jeti version and I just get "JETI" on the upper left side on the screen, very strange; I can't remember -long time ago- which ER9X FW worked well but I'm sure it worked ! and it gave the SAME display as the original (ugly) Jeti screen. That is the way ...

Remember the Jeti telemetry is a bit better than the FrSky....there is no RPM/brushless sensor from FrSky...

I assume the poor old TH9X µC is very close to its limit now...
